About the NGO Tandavanala:
Tandavanala is a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental preservation and sustainable development in Madagascar. Our actions aim to protect national ecosystems, raise community awareness about environmental issues, and promote sustainable practices.
Position Description: Volunteer
Main Responsibilities:
- Offer voluntary and unpaid support to the NGO by assisting the technical and administrative teams of Tandavanala in their activities related to the volunteer’s field of study.
- Gain professional experience in the volunteer’s area of specialty.
Desired Profile:
The NGO may seek volunteers in the following departments:
- Natural Resource Management and Governance
- Sustainable Agriculture and Green Economy
- Climate Change / Energy Efficiency
- Education and Communication for Development
Conditions:
- Volunteer applications will be assessed based on the availability of positions and supervisors, evaluated by the Human Resources and technical and administrative teams of Tandavanala.
- Criteria for selection include:
- Relevance of the volunteer’s specialty and technical skills.
- Relevance of previous professional experiences.
- Availability of the volunteer.
Contract:
- The volunteer position at Tandavanala is unpaid. However, during field missions, a mission allowance covering accommodation and meal expenses will be provided.
- The contract is for a fixed term not exceeding 6 months.
